Construction drawings
EnSen . . Design
EnSen Design uses three dimensional ‘Computer Aided Design’ modelling at  the heart of it’s business.  From conceptual design through to detailed working  drawings, computer technology is deployed to assist our Architects in the  creative process and to ensure any resultant proposals or drawings are clear  and easy to understand.  By using ‘3D’ throughout any project, we are able to guide both client and  contractor alike.  Not everyone is able to easily understand a flat, two  dimensional drawing whereas we can ‘walk’ our clients through our ‘virtual  models’ at any stage of the design.
Typical design and construction drawings
After the initial meeting we are able to turn your ideas into a 3-dimensional computer model
EnSen Design can also provide CAD drawing, modelling or presentation services for commercial clients and other Architectural practices- please call to discuss

We undertake our initial environmental assessments at this stage, evaluating design options in terms of sun paths, potential for use of solar gains, massing, and prevailing winds.
We can very quickly consider alternative designs during the early stages, changing, for example, the profile of a roof, the size of an extension.
Initial modelling
Existing private residence, Serby Avenue, Royston
Images show basic massing options of either a flat roofed extension (left) or pitched roof extension (right).  Shadows considered for impact on neighbouring properties and potential for installation of solar hot water heating or photovoltaic panels. Ground level wind flows estimated.
Design options quickly visualised - giving consideration here to the resultant buildings skyline
Massing and environmental impact
Both external materials and different interior décor can be presented to our clients, throughout the design process.
Built Form
Light penetration appraised and internal materials considered
Internal spaces can be presented as still images or real time walk-through sequences.
Appearance
Internal spatial modelling
Internal still image from low-cost walk through movie file, generated at concept design stage
Our goal though is to ensure that Contractors have clear and concise information from which to build. We therefore continue in three dimensions during all project stages, and can provide three dimensional details as the clearest way to describe a complex junction. Furthermore we collaborate with other design team members to minimise errors and problems through a fully integrated approach to construction information
We also undertake design competitions
Presentations
We can also provide photo realistic images for a wide variety of needs including to support Planning Applications
